As per NCTE guidelines a person who scores 60% or more TET Exam Qualifying Marks will be considered as TET pass. School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided)
- may consider giving concessions for TET Exam Qualifying Marks to persons belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.
- should give weightage to the TET scores in the recruitment process however qualifying the TET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment.
Marks Relaxation for SC/ST/OBCs differently abled persons
Generally you will see minimum 5% relaxation of marks is granted to SC/ST/OBCs differently abled persons. This has been the norm with various state governments.
Categories who are to exempted for relaxation may differ from state to state but relaxation of marks is there for reserved categories.
TET Passing Marks for OBC and other categories: Generally 5% to10% relaxation is given.

Extremely backward class, EBC(अत्यंत पिछड़ा वर्ग) is 42.5%
SC/ST/Differently Abled/Woman (एससी, एसटी, दिव्यांग, महिला) is 40%

if i scored 83 marks in tet exam i become a teacher?///

For general category candidates minimum marks is 90 marks and for reserved category candidates 83 is the minimum marks. Scoring minimum marks makes you eligible to apply for teacher’s post

It’s standard practice to have at least four different set of question papers and this is not just for TET, it happens for most other exams too

For reserved category candidate 83 iso the minimum marks.scoring eligible the teacher

As per NCTE 5% relaxation is given to reserved categories such as SC/ST,OBC, differently abled persons, etc., which converts to 7.5 marks. So yes 83 marks are the qualifying marks for reserved categories.
